New York-based product designer and artist Sonia Zhang has honed her skills in multiple art spectrums for years. In her early works, Zhang explored spatial and visual installation, sculptural art, and their emotional and physical influence on the audience. As she transitioned to Product Design for her BFA degree at Parsons School of Design, her strong fine art background allowed her to bring her understanding of relationships between oneself, others, and nature to her designs. Inspired by philosophy and history and influenced by her rich cultural background and surroundings, Zhang is driven to create meaningful, educational, and sustainable works.
